Personal Eyecare Tips for COVID-19
Personal hygiene and social distancing is the best way to protect yourself, your loved ones, and all those around you.
Follow CDC guidelines by vigorously washing your hands with soap and water for 20 seconds before handling your eyeglasses and contact lenses.
Wash your eyeglasses daily with tepid water and as often as needed with mild soap (without moisturizer). Then dry with soft paper towel. Afterwards you may use a clean microfiber cloth to get rid of any streaks.
Make sure to also wash your eyeglass nose pads, temple tips (those go over your ears), and any other contact points.
You may use isopropyl alcohol to gently disinfect your eyeglasses but avoid excessive use on the plastic frames. Only use sprays that are approved for AR coatings.
Do not wipe your lenses without washing off dust particles or debris and never clean them dry.
